Saw the sticker on a KIA Sorento. I'll have to see if it's still in the parking lot later to make sure I wasn't just tired/confused/rushed.
Pretty sure someone posted earlier this month about it being on a similar vehicle.

There is a Toyota Highlander I see on my commute that claims the driver is the Stig. I'm not so sure.

But, aren't we all the Stig? That way we don't know who truly is the Stig?
Obscure reference: Danny Kaye in The Court Jester. "No I'm the fox!"

Oh, I was going for the "I'm Sparticus" reference initially but that works too.

But come now, wouldn't a <9.5 minute 'ring sleeper Kia Sorento be totally epic?

The Spartacus one was used on the FP post on the Stig. Needed something different.

Drove one as a rental last week and I couldn't stop complaining. It was the most miserable thing I have ever driven. I think to get to the point you want it wouldn't be a KIA...just a shell haha.
Ultimate sleeper though.

I have been to the 'Ring in '10 and have the a Ring sticker on both my S2K and my Honda Fit. What's wrong with that?

Just did some checking: the <2009 Sorento is truck-based enough that a full drivetrain swap wouldn't be that hard. The post-2009 Sorento has a drivetrain option 3.5 V6 that can be bored out to 4.1 and turbo'ed extra (or was for a Pike's Peak car, anyway) for 750 HP. Standard equip Sorento V6 is 3700lb, find about 500 of that to get rid of, and you have a car that (if you've built a, say 450hp v6) has 7lb/hp. That's Corvette C6 country, though it might be best to build an AWD system using stock mounts for AWD, as otherwise you're also in Olds Toronado territory of torque steer.

You have piqued my interest.
I'm also imagining it disintegrating halfway through.

As long as some portion of it including the driver crosses the finish after the long straight, it counts.

Started off as an Inside joke, which has now resulted in me driving around in a douchemobile.
I will attest to the fact that Sabine Schmitz herself gave me the Save the Ring sticker.
